Our investment process is built around deep scientific diligence, primary-source research, and independent judgment across drug biology, clinical trial design, pharmacology, regulatory precedent, competitive dynamics, and valuation.

Position Summary

ADAR1 Capital is seeking an Analyst to join its investment team, supporting scientific, clinical, and financial diligence across biotechnology companies, therapeutic areas, and individual drug candidates.

The ideal candidate is intensely curious, highly detail-oriented, and motivated by understanding drugs from first principles. You should enjoy reading clinical papers, FDA/EMA documents, trial protocols, conference posters, SEC filings, and company presentations to develop a differentiated view on whether a therapeutic is likely to succeed.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a strong background in life sciences, medicine, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field. MD, PhD, PharmD, Master’s, or relevant industry/investment experience preferred, but not required.

Location

Austin, TX (main office), SF, or NYC – remote also possible.
